第一步：任务是什么？
在口语考试的第一部分，你首先要做的是说出并且拼出自己的姓名，说明自己来自哪里。接下来会有五个问题，关于你个人、你的日常生活、你平时做的事情及你的喜好等。因为这些都是私人问题，所以答案没有对错之分，你可以利用这一部分交流时间尽量放松下来。考官知道你可能会感觉紧张，他们也会尽其所能帮助你放松下来。这一部分时长约三分钟。
第二步：让回答更充实
口语考试第一部分练习起来非常简单。想想自己生活的各个方面，比如住在哪里，跟谁一起住，在哪里工作或学习，空闲时间做什么，如果旅行会怎么计划等。可以跟你的朋友互相提问。不需要给出太长的回答，但回答时尽量给出一到两个理由。

例如，如果考官问你：
Where did you stay on your last holiday?
不要只回答：
I stayed in a hotel.
虽然你的英文表达是正确的，也确实回答了问题，但是想要得到更高分数，就需要再多说一点。你可以说：
I stayed in a beautiful Italian hotel near the beach and I really enjoyed it because the weather was good and we ate lots of delicious food.
这样你就给出了更多信息。你也用到了一些形容词，并且向考官展示了你可以充分表达自己的想法。
第三步：确保回答切题

看下面的问题及两个可能的回答。
问题：What do you like about learning English?
回答 A：English is a good language to learn. Manypeople speak it.
回答 B：I like learning English because it helps me to talk with people from other countries on the internet and my lessons are fun and interesting. I also enjoy watching English language films and improving my vocabulary in a fun way.
在回答A中，考生没有答出他个人为什么喜欢学习英语。考生只说了学英语是件好事，因为很多人都说英语。这位考生没有充分回答这个问题。
在回答B中，考生给出了一个很好的回答，因为考生谈到了自己，说了他为什么喜欢学习英语，这正是考官希望考生回答的内容。
回答A是一个值得我们注意的很好的例子，这个回答在语言方面没有错误，但是依然没有充分回答考官所问的问题。

g) I guess it does because I'm much more depressed in the winter. In the summer I feel more positive and energetic.
